Lyrics by Ritchie Rees. Music Written by Andrew Griffiths co written by Ritchie Rees.
I enjoyed the involvement with this song because of the hidden meanings or at least they were hidden to me
when I first received the lyrics and read them they may as well have been in Chinese.
When Ritchie explained to me the whole meaning of the song I was quite amazed at how he and Andrew Griffiths managed to get so much info into one song and still make it feel and sound catchy.
Its a deep song, or at least it feels that way to me. It's also the type of song that requires some reading to understand.
The first verse where I sing the words - Lets talk about red ones, white yellow and black ones -
Its about people, the Human race.
The rest of the song is something you are going to have to get your own head around and good luck on that one.
The song is obvious to some but not to others.
LYRICS
Today is my day that I have to choose
If I stand up and fight or lay down and loose
Lets talk about red ones, white yellow and black ones
And make a decision with close cut precision

What will I do?
Who can I be?
Why am I here?
Oh when will I see?

What will I choose dance funk or blues?
Who is the best, King Elvis or the rest?
Joseph Smith and the profits, The Buddha, Koran
In and out of death choose if you can

What will I do?
Who can I be?
Why am I here
Oh when will I see?

Beer or wine to have a good time
Drink Pepsi or Coke their all just a joke
Red car or blue car, who cares do you?
Holiday in Spain where they get little rain
Kings and Queens no more to be seen
Eat pies and tell lies a politicians sunrise
Gay or straight daddys gotta wait
To heaven or hell can anyone tell?

What will I do?
Who can I be?
Why am I here?
Oh when will I see?

Sun in the morning moon light at night
For the bees and the trees we go down on our knees
We live to die please tell me why
At the end of the day some way we must pay

What will I do?
Who can I be?
Why am I here?
Oh when will I see?

What will I do?
Who can I be?
Why am I here?
Oh when will I see?
